Awards 2011

Leopard of the Year

Christine DiBiase &
Karen Goudreau

This award goes to the person that the teams feels best displays what it means to be a Wentworth Rugby Player. The person voted for this position does not have to be the best player on the pitch, it is someone who you feel truely does everything in the best interest of the team. A true leader ON and OFF the field who is the best representative for the team as a whole.

Most Valuable Player
Cathy Ordile

I think thats is self explanitory…But basically the person who you feel we could not do without in a game. At the same time this person can be someone who was injured the last few games if you feel they were there most mvp. But overall MVP is someone who you felt lead by example on the pitch and was always at the play to get the job done.

16th Player Award
Heidi Hansen

The 16th player award is not an award to be taken lightly. This player, while not in the starting first 15, is someone who you felt you could depend on. They show you that they can play just about any position on the pitch. She is a leader on the sideline and when on the field. But overall an amazing athlete and your first sub in any game. A very prestigious award and really take your time thinking about this one.
