WIT Rugby’s favorite away game, the women met Keene State at their home during Pumpkinfest. Keene may have won, yet again, the world record for jack o’ lanterns, but WIT walked away with another win against Keene on the pitch. Both teams fought long and hard in a game controlled by WIT from the start, and though Keene’s fullback made two impressive tries from downfield, they couldn’t turn it around in their favor. It was a game that saw multiple pauses for injury on both sides, and the WIT Women enjoyed Keene’s sportsmanship and friendliness during a few exceptionally long stops for injured players.
WIT vs. Keene left the women at a 5-1 record so far.
